I am happy to win an award for songwriting in a city like Detroit. Where it’s “Dog eat Dog” as a recent radio interview with Cleve Baker said. I am moving the needle a bit to the woman’s side of things. Time tends to go by so fast now that we are in a digital age, I often need to slow down and take a deep breath. The month of April is zipping right out of here and we are gonna all be wearing shorts in a week or two. Well before April 2015 goes, I wanted to thank all the voting members for listening to the music and voting with your ears and not your “favs.”
