Philly Cheeze knows the blues and when it’s blues-soaked you better grab a towel.

Well I know Philly as I have met him a few times and even played a festival near him in Wisconsin. Over the years we have been friends and even get to catch up in Memphis when the BMAs are going down. Philly reviews a great deal of music in one year so here are some take a way’s from his latest awesome review:

“Detroit-based recording artist Eliza Neals has delivered another brilliant record with Thunder in the House. Her songs, infectious as hell, rock with a distinct bluesy bravado. They definitely cut right to the bone… The album leads off with “Speedy Beedy”.  Released as a single last year, this blues-soaked homage to Howlin’ Wolf’s classic “Little Red Rooster”, tells the story of a quite charming rooster which came to an unfortunate demise.  I dig the venture into swamp-rock Puwal takes on guitar.  It sounds great along with Neals’ fierce vocals… I love “Blues Bombshell”.  It’s brilliant and sexy.  With Detroit Mike on B3 and Grand Piano, this one is slathered with grease…”

WELL DAMN you got me on that one but I’m not going to ruin it here check out the review at the top and click the link! Thanks Philly and hope to see you soon. Here’s his last review on Badder To The Bone!
