“The album opens with “Speedy Beady,” a reinterpretation of the classic “Little Red Rooster” featuring a vibrant rhythm and an energetic sound; it is an impeccable track. Next up is “Love Will,” showcasing Eliza’s unmistakable vocals alongside Michael Puwal’s hard-hitting guitar riffs; it is an energetic, mid-tempo blues-rock song. Slide guitar abounds on “Blues Bombshell,” a slow blues number where Neals sings with deep emotion.

On “All Alone,” Eliza plays both organ and piano; the track is subtle yet carries the feel of a rock anthem. Neals sings passionately, while the guitar reaches soaring heights. “Locked Up” is a ballad with real character. The piano enhances the performance’s overall atmosphere as Neals sings with deep emotion. On “Wicked Heart,” the tempo shifts, and Eliza and the band unleash their energy; the guitar and Hammond B3 organ help the song flow naturally.

The guitar work is spectacular on “Unoriginal Bitch,” where Neals unleashes her gritty vocals. A powerful guitar and energetic rhythm create a profound, joyful feeling. Next, “One Monkey”—featuring piano and guitar—creates a pleasing musical blend, with vocals that move passionately through this vibrant track. The album concludes with the title track, “Thunder in the House,” a slow blues number featuring raspy, gritty vocals and slide guitar work that wails right along with the voice. It is a brilliant, dark piece.”
