Happy Birthday Mr. Billy Davis Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame & Detroit Ikon

Happy Birthday Mr. RnRHOF Billy Davis! 🎂

Mr. Davis is in the @RockHall with “Hank Ballard and the Midnighters!” He was good friends with #JimmyHendrix as he taught him early on in Seattle as a teenager. 🎸
Here is the first time I met Mr.Davis (top photo) way back in 2010 hanging at “BigBoy” on Telegraph in MetroDetroit 🎶 I was hanging with my @songwritershof mentor #BarrettStrong and I heard the stories of these two #livinglegends together multiple times, (they are friends since 15years old) from the “chitterlings circuit” as it’s was called. Their days at the #Apollotheater and points in between 💯 Barrett said hey there’s “Black Elvis, hey Billy” and we met. Mr. Davis has a long beautiful musical history you should get to know. Have a great birthday with Love ❤️

Image is of Mr. Billy Davis and Mrs. Eliza Neals at the Stone House Detroit open jam, photo taken by Jane Cassisi the Detroit Blues Society president around 2018. Billy Davis the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame inductee with Hank Ballard and the Midnighters had recorded a few well received songs with Eliza Neals from her record 10000 Feet Below. They are both smiling with one arm around the back facing the camera
