The Groove digit ‘Sweet Or Mean’ Review

My friends at the Crossroads blues society in central Illinois have given “Sweet or Mean” my latest EP a great review. I am happy everyone has enjoyed this EP so much as it was a true party creating it. Cool ass Popa Chubby and Dave Keyes along with my drummer John Medeiros and bass player Chris Vega were the core musicians. Cream on the top in Horns is Ian Hendrickson-Smith and Michael Leonhart.

“Sweet or Mean opens with “Pawn Shop Blues,” featuring Popa Chubby laying down some stinging slide guitar to intensify the gritty vocals of Eliza Neals and electrifing horn section… This opening tune sets the tone for more deep, emotional vocals from Eliza and riveting guitar solos from Popa Chubby on the follow-up tune ‘Blackish Gray.'”

We partied and it goes on with the rest of the EP. The “traditional bump and grind blues track,” and “rare delta bound acoustic” are just the way we wanted em.

“Left me wanting more” thanks Crossroads blues society!
